Agri-Pet Veterinary Service is a privately owned, 4-doctor practice in search of a registered veterinary technician to join our team.
Our veterinary technicians are an integral part of our team. In this role your responsibilities will include assisting the doctors during exams, patient care, client communication and education, venipuncture, preparing laboratory samples, administering medications and vaccinations, placing IV catheters, surgical prep and assisting, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental prophylaxis, maintaining surgical equipment, taking radiographs, managing medication refills, medical record keeping, and more.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and with the team, should have excellent communication skills, strong technical skills and a warm, compassionate, professional demeanor.
Our practice has a smaller, more local feel and takes pride in the relationship with our clients and patients, as they're also our friends and neighbors. Our practice has a healthy variety in its caseload, from routine well pet appointments for dogs and cats, to management of sick/intensive cases, routine and urgent surgery and dentistry.
We have a seasoned team of fun-loving, friendly, drama-free, hardworking, well trained support staff and we strive to provide quality patient care. We are a modern practice and have cloud based digital records, DR digital radiography, IDEXX in-house labs, ultrasound, advanced dental equipment and a fully equipped surgical suite.
