GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for loading the bagged product from the warehouse onto trucks or containers. The warehouse operator is primarily responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of assigned euipment and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the stacking of pallets is safe and poses no safety hazards.
• Organize warehouse to ease access and minimize wasted space.
• Meet or exceed run efficiency standards (minimize shift downtime).
• Safetly operates forklifts
• loads trucks/containers in compliance with Food and AGT Safety regulations
• Use I-Pad to document loading and unloading of truck or container
• Perform work safely.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Uphold a quality-conscious and food-safe culture.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to utilize computerized equipment to produce the desired quality of products.
• Tasks performed involve work with equipment and procedures that require familiarity with formal safety procedures and following them to maintain the safety of the work environment.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and to work at high elevations, and in confined areas.
• Must be able to navigate numerous flights of stairs/ladders on a continual basis.
• Must be able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work any day and/or shift including weekends and holidays.
• Have the ability to perform all above tasks in an environment in cold or hot temperatures.
