Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fertilizer Coordinator to join our team. As a Fertilizer Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the distribution of fertilizers to our clients. Your main objective will be to ensure that the fertilizers are delivered on time and in the right quantity, while maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards. You will work closely with our sales team, logistics team, and clients to ensure that all requirements are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operating and maintaining dry fertilizer bulk handling equipment (Bobcat, Forklift, and Payloader) in a safe and efficient manner and performing necessary preventative maintenance .
  • Coordinate and manage the distribution of fertilizers to customers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of fertilizers while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by the facility to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance, and complete repair work .
  • Maintaining warehouse inventory, record keeping and billing processes
  • Interacting regularly with customers, peers, and management to provide exceptional customer service, pursue continuous improvement of facility operations, and promote a teamwork focused environment .
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship .
  • Must be 18 years or older .
  • English Proficiency.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation .
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator .
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces .
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
