Ahava Services is Hiring a .NET Developer Near Springfield, IL

Looking for skilled Senior and Junior .NET developers for a Modernization Project, ensuring the successful migration of legacy applications to modern Microsoft Servers.
Job Responsibilities
  • Initial 3-week onsite period, working 3 days at, Springfield, IL.
  • Post-introductory period, work onsite 3 days per month, with potential for up to 3 additional days per month as needed.
  • Engage in full-stack development, focusing on .NET technologies, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Develop, test, and implement application modifications, re-platforming, rebuilding, or decommissioning as necessary.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
  • Provide strong technical/functional leadership and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
  • 10 years of experience for a Senior Software Developer, with a strong background in leading large-scale IT projects OR
  • 3 years of experience for a Junior Software Developer, with a strong background in leading large-scale IT projects.
  • Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Extensive experience in Agile SDLC methodologies.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).
    • Strong knowledge of .NET full-stack development concepts, including Internet Information Services (IIS).
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database migration and performance tuning.
    • Proficiency in ASP.Net application development, XSLT, JavaScript, and Restful API development.
    • Experience in application migration to new hosting platforms.
    • Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to provide technical/functional leadership, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
