Vista Health System is interested in hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) . You will be responsible for the safety of surgical patients while in the surgical suite and assisting with the supervision of nonprofessional personnel in the area.

Shift: Days- 8-hour shift- Call Required (MUST LIVE WITHIN 30min of facility)

As a Nurse you will be specifically responsible for:

• Assessing patient status.
• Providing supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Providing care to surgical patients.
• Providing information to surgical patients and families.
• Providing call coverage for emergencies.
• Experience Requirements: at least 6 months experience in CVOR with open heart experience. 2 years General OR. ( Will consider an experience OR RN with some exposure to CV/ open heart for their CVOR RN position. Dependent on resume review.)

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
• BLS & ACLS
• BSN strongly preferred
• CPR, ACLS certified
