AHW is Hiring a Parts Sales Representative Near Melvin, IL

This position is responsible for selling our tiered portfolio of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department. This position is also responsible for placing special orders for our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter or on the phone
  • Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions
  • Responsibility for Inventory Integrity
  • Educates and engages customers through product demonstrations and promotions
  • Effectively uses computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode system and Dealer Business System
  • Communicates, executes, and monitors Parts Department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
  • Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
  • Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  • 1 years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience
  • Experience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, and establishes rapport
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of the selling processes
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
  • Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Experience working both independently and in a team setting
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
