Education: Bachelor’s Degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline.
Months/Years of Experience: :Three (:3) years of applicable experience in program finance or project management, including experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones; providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs; validating costs; establishing and updating forms in multiple software packages to ensure customer has complete and accurate project information at all times; coordinating administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of project management to track the cost and schedule of tests; ensuring labor, flights, material, and travel charges are correct; communicating funding status to customers; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure cost objectives are not exceeded; and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple sources. .
Required Qualifications: U. S. Citizenship. A valid driver’s license. Possess, or able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Experience with aviation, aviation technologies, missile or rocket systems, or sensors knowledge of different types of government funding are pluses.
Skills Needed: Prefer experience/skills coordinating projects; reviewing technical documents; compiling statistics and data for projects; developing integrated schedules; writing narratives. Professional user of Microsoft Office, Project 2007/13, and SharePoint. Good communicator, both orally and verbally. US Army missile experience preferred. Knowledge of government funding a plus.
Duties: Individuals in this position are referred to as an Assistant Account Managers (AAM). They are part of the test management team, as such will take program direction from the Test Program Integration Directorate and assist in coordination of the planning, management, and oversight of Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities for their programs and projects within the RTC. Create, monitor and maintain the programs integrated master schedule, workload projection report and financial execution report. Reviews and edit proposals for grammar and format, assists Test Engineers and Test Coordinators with bottom-up cost estimation and creating detailed cost and schedule proposals. Assists with customer communication and documentation of scope changes and amended project proposals. Provides key input for program management reviews and may represent the account at Customer Business Reviews.
