A Clinical Pharmacist contributes to AHF by expanding primary carefunctions of pharmacists such as providing individualized healthpromotion and disease prevention, including administration ofvaccines, long acting HIV treatments, diabetes monitoring, nicotinereduction programs and other subject matters, in collaboration withother AHF Providers.

A Clinical Pharmacist enhances the reputation of AHF by providingvaluable contributions to all locations by helping to bring bestpractice and collaborative ideas, as well as providing consistentapplication of processes, procedures and policy throughout theorganization.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff areaccountable to multiple leaders.

The Clinical Pharmacist will work as a part of a close-knit team toprovide individualized health promotion and disease prevention,including administration of immunizations, diabetes and smokingcessations programs, as well as other Subject Matter Expertise (SME)programs as developed by AHF, with appropriate collaborative drugtherapy management authority.
