Air Force Civilian Service is Hiring a Foreign and Domestic Relations Specialist Near Alexandria, VA

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) are looking for Full-Time Foreign and Domestic Relations Specialist, GS-0301-13, to work at Pentagon, Arlington, VA. The primary purpose of this position is to manage, coordinate, and facilitate the Air Force of Staff’s (CSAF) highly sensitive CONUS on OCONUS travel obligations and agendas. The complete success of these official visits is necessary for the Air Force to meet its mission requirements and national objectives.

This position closes on 17 Jun 2024.

Salary starts at $117,962 - $153,354 (Based on Experience)

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship & maintain a security clearance.
  • This is a designated Drug Testing Position
  • Mastery knowledge of personal security and force protection support concepts, practices, and methods.
  • Mastery knowledge of work events and international political affairs. Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Broad knowledge of changing dynamics in the international arena. Ability to use correspondence rules and regulations to prepare and/or edit written correspondence, ensuring proper use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Extensive knowledge of the numerous and sensitive nationally unique customs and courtesies of the international community. Ability to advise others.
  • Mastery of written and oral communication. Ability to use office automation tools and techniques to support office operations.
  • Strong ability to plan and organize work.
