The purpose of this position is To provide expert IT support as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for security related technical analysis and development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation for connected and stand-alone Platform systems in OO-ALC.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)
-Salary will be based on both years of specialized experience post-graduation relatable to the position and GPA
-Journeyman eligibility requires 3 years of specialized experience post-graduation relatable to the position
-A combination of education at the graduate or doctorate level and experience may be applied for Journeyman eligibility
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of a full range of network systems (LAN/WAN) design principles, methodologies, and approaches used in developing, testing, installing, operating, managing, and maintaining network services that support functional requirements.
2. Knowledge of the network architecture, interrelationships, operating modes, configuration, topology, and protocols typically found at base level.
3. Knowledge of network operating and maintenance concepts and methods to troubleshoot network problems.
4. Knowledge of complex configuration management techniques, and requirements appropriate to managing base level network systems.
5. Ability to gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to assess information, plan the sequence of actions necessary, make sound decisions, and solve a variety of network problems; and to analyze component interrelationships and evaluate network systems and computer applications from an operational perspective.
6. Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements.
