The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time LEAD INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NJ-0895-04 ) to work at Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) – at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, UT. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Team Leader for groups within 309 CMXG responsible to their supervisors or managers for assuring that the work of their assigned team is carried out by performing a range of planning, coordinating, coaching, facilitating, and related supportive duties and responsibilities. This position performs official team lead duties over subordinate employees with primarily journeyman level job experience by directing/overseeing projects, assignments, and performing work assignments and/or studies encompassing Training Program Manager responsibilities within 309 CMXG.

Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of a variety of industrial engineering technician techniques and processes to include work measurement, methods improvement, engineered time standards development, Methods Time Measurement, Defense Work Methods and Standard (DWM&S),layout design and cost analysis.

2. Knowledge of safety, security, and environmental regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge of EEO, labor management, personnel management policies, practices and procedures including the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability analyze plans and adjust program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality; and the ability to establish objectives or performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement.

4. Knowledge and experience with Aircraft Programs, depot maintenance operations including production planning, scheduling, and material storage/distribution, as well as, production materials and methods, concepts, practices, and techniques critical to repair, manufacturing, and modifications of major weapons systems and components, and the knowledge of mechanics and construction, maintenance and repair facility work processes and methods.

5. Ability to plan, organizes, and directs the functions and mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff of an organization.

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Employee must obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the position.

2. Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall. Incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be required to accomplish assigned duties.
