The purpose of this position to serve as a Team Leader responsible to their supervisors or managers for ensuring that the work of their assigned team is carried out by performing a range of planning, coordinating, coaching, facilitating, and related supportive duties and responsibilities. This position performs official team lead duties over subordinate employees with primarily journeyman level job experience by directing/overseeing projects, assignments, and performing work assignments and/or studies encompassing Training Program Manager responsibilities.

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Ability to utilize AoP principles and concepts to lead a team of subordinate personnel through coaching, communication, planning, organizing, and direction to facilitate work assignments.

2. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, lead a team, as well as work in a professional manner with peers, management, contractors, academia, and other agencies.

3. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used in team building; establishing team performance goals and assessing team progress; and providing effective team training.

4. Comprehensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.

5. Comprehensive knowledge of local and higher headquarters regulations, policies, procedures, operating instructions and directives that pertain to training, PAC and SSQ.

6. Knowledge of various funding and budgetary processes, and the ability to evaluate, assign, obligate, and track funds using the proper fund cites for current and future training requirements.

7. Knowledge and skill to develop a substantial amount of background and source information and produce new training programs based upon existing and new workloads and new or changed Air Force Instructions or regulations.
