The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time MANAGEMENT ANALYST (NH-0343-02 ) to work at Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) – at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, UT. Salary Range ($39,576-$94,317) YEARLY

The purpose of this position to serve as a Human Resources Liaison (HRL) responsible for conducting manpower requirements determination studies and organizational analysis of a variety of organizations, functions, and work processes and provide management consultant capabilities to improve matters of mission effectiveness, resource efficiency and resource savings. Provides management advisory services on civilian personnel functions, civilian position management, recruiting techniques, pay, etc. for assigned organizations; initiates, reviews, coordinates and monitors Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs) submitted from assigned unit and/or subordinate units. Utilizes independent judgment and expertise to provide managers, supervisors, and civilian employees with recommendations to improve support and management oversight for

serviced organizations and provide the most effective and efficient management of manpower and personnel positions.

Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge and skill in gathering and assembling required information in order to apply analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.

2. Knowledge of the operations, missions, services, needs, and goals of the organizations studied or served and related customers, functions, resources and users.

3. Knowledge of pertinent manpower/personnel laws, regulations, policies and precedents that affect the use of manpower resources.

4. Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing facts; drawing conclusions; devising solutions to problems; identifying changes and trends; and preparing and presenting briefings and reports.

5. Ability to plan and organize studies and reviews, to select from among a variety of practices/procedures, and to devise analytical techniques and methodology suited to problems assigned.

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. May be required travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) for training or mission accomplishment.

2. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

3. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance for the position.
