Job Overview This job announcement will be accepting candidate submissions until 24 June 2024. The HQ AFRL Digitial Capabilities Directorate (IZC) seeks to hire a mid-level, Supervisory Deputy Division Chief located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
Serve as Deputy Division Chief of Cybersecurity Management Division
Support Division Chief in providing leadership, supervision, and development to government personnel
Support Division Chief in monitoring performance of contractor personnel for delivery of cost, schedule, and performance
Oversees development of Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) packages for AF Science and Technology (S&T) Authorizing Official (AO)
Support team in application of AFRL Risk Management Framework to evaluate effectiveness of security controls
Communicate with DoD, Air Staff, Major Command, and AFRL leadership on requirements and issues related to cybersecurity
Functions as government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), initiates and modifies labor contracts, participates in source selection, and evaluates technical proposals.
Communicate with DoD, Air Staff, Major Command, and AFRL leadership on status of and issues related to cybersecurity
Participates in AF S&T Cybersecurity Working Group that develops policy and A&A governance structure to meet unique needs of laboratory community
Represents AF S&T Authorizing Official to AFRL Technical Directorate CITO, ISSM, and Program Managers to implement risk management policies
Lead projects to transform the delivery of enterprise cybersecurity support and strategy to manage risk while enabling the research mission of AFRL
Champion customer service centric approach to managing the cybersecurity in complex AFRL technical environment

United States Citizenship
Must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lowest grade level or equivalent of the position being advertised. Examples of specialized experience includes experience in leading, managing or implementing Cybersecurity programs

Desired Qualifications
Experience with Enterprise Information Technology implementations in AFRL, DoD componet laboratories, defense industry or academic environment
First level supervision experience
Great interpersonal and leadership skills
Certification to satisfy DoD 8140 for work code 612 Basic
