Job Opportunity: Customer Service Representative with Accounting Responsibilities

Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with excellent customer service skills? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will also assist with basic accounting tasks.

Airtech Controls is a small metro-Detroit based automation, pneumatic and electronics distributor. We represent 13 brands and offer complete system service & sales.

Position: Customer Service Representative with Accounting

Location: Wixom Mi

Salary: $17- 18 per hour

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Work type: In person

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from customers. Provide accurate information, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Basic Accounting Tasks: Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records as well as applying payments and collections. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy.

• Multitasking: Juggle customer inquiries while managing accounting-related duties efficiently.

• Microsoft Program Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred. Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy matters! You’ll be handling customer data, so meticulous attention to detail is crucial.

• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift.

• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions independently.

• Professionalism: Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor with customers and coworkers.
