Job Summary:

The Rework Team Member will perform rework activities on all three transmission assemblies. These TMs must gain knowledge on necessary hand tools, jigs, and measurement gauging to complete all required repairs for a given automatic transmission model.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete repair work on assigned transmission assemblies
• Documenting all work performed as assigned
• Utilize a variety of tools, including jigs, measurement gauges, and hand tools to complete assigned repairs
• Troubleshoot assigned transmission assemblies when needed
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
• Complete daily work using standard work instructions
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work within any assigned area, whether it be Overflow Repair or an ATI Repair area
• Identify and communicate critical issues to management
• Effectively communicate with cross-functional Team Members from all AWNC departments
• Other duties as assigned

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tools & equipment
• Maintain a safety working environment and follow all safety procedures
• Report quality issues to supervisor to ensure that issues are investigated and corrected.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to follow standard work to complete assigned tasks
• Experience utilizing hand tools to perform work
• Basic computer skills
• Ability and desire to work well independently
• Occasional heavy lifting up to 50lbs
