Salary Range: $150k-$170kRecognized expert within the company, who architects, designs, researches and develops highly advanced space applications, which may result in new product/business opportunities for the company.
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) across sites on EE projects with full design cycle, recommends strategic EE technical paths for business expansion across company; defines industry best practices for company, mentorship.
Emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise to design problems and is able to provide innovative solutions.
Responsibility
- Complexity of Task Assignment - Works on multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative, original solutions. Strong understanding of development programs with strong exposure across entire development lifecycle from concept to decommission.
- Planning - Technical planning, estimates, tracks & completes project on time and within budget across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Scope/lmpact - Results are key to successful completion of major projects/programs.
- Lead/Oversight Responsibilities - Lead or strong influence over technical staff.
- Supervision - Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Guidance - Provides guidance to group and mentor junior engineers.
- Initiative -Exercises substantial initiative/ judgment in work methods and in implementing and interpreting goals.
- Technical Writing - Able to write desi n review data packages and proposals.
- Is a SME across program areas under specialty and with a detailed understanding of how multiple systems interact.
- Familiar with and understands industry best practices.
- Develops innovative solutions to unique problems.
- Proficient in Systematic RCCA processes and ability to follow those methods and generate RCCA reports for the customers
- Professional abilities & technical accomplishments are recognized throughout the company and within the professional community in the area of expertise.
- Craft effective strategic technical path to capture significant follow-on business.
- Effectively train/mentor his/her work group and effectively lead work teams within the work group.
- Give effective presentations to general audiences, customers, and organization leadership and write convincing proposals and reports.
- Resolve divergent technical opinions within team and customer in influencing them.
- Effectively communicate project status with the customer.
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
