Stockroom Associate$18.00 - $20.00 Hourly Temporary RoleDuties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all shipping functions including proper documentation of items to be shipped, their count(s), associated End Item Data Packages (EDIP) and correctness of items to be shipped in concert with internally generated shippers or other related items, as well as proper packaging of Hi-Rel parts and assemblies to ensure damage free transit, and trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Responsible for all receiving functions including proper documentation of received items, their count(s) and correctness of items received versus items ordered, and ensuring incoming material/parts are stored in appropriate location
- Maintain a neat and orderly stockroom/inventory area
- Ensure work flow of stockroom and orderly check in and check out
- Responsible for Issuing parts per “kit pull” lists for space kits
- Keying transactions, cycle counting, restocking electronic parts, and maintaining the ship/receiving/stores area. This function also includes maintaining lot and date code parts where necessary, segregating Space and non-Space inventories, as well as keeping the overall stores area clean and in a neat and organized manner
- Participate in performing physical inventories and/or cycle counts
High School Diploma High school diploma or equivalent required
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must have strong written and communication skills
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and to respond to management direction
- Must have basic computer skills with ability to learn ERP systems
- Must be able to lift, bend and stand for extended period of time
