Native level Japanese is a must as we have many Japanese clients, and you do not need to have experience at an accounting firm to apply if you are interested in taxation.

If you have no experience, start with education for 3 days for 5 hours on a part time basis at first, then plan to go full time. *Flexible for those with experience (once you get used to it, you can work remotely and come in twice/week).

• Accounting software setup and assistance
• Preparation of fixed asset ledgers and calculation of depreciation
• Advice on accounting principles
• Preparation of corporate tax returns
• Preparation of fixed asset returns
• Business license application procedures
• Preparation of sales tax returns
• Preparation of Department of Commerce reports
• Consulting on U.S. tax matters
• Income tax planning, gross-up calculations and tax return preparation for expatriates

*Requirements:

• Must have a visa to work in the U.S. (OPT and student visa will not be accepted).
• You do not need a CPA to apply.

• Experience with AP/AR, Payroll, and Quickbooks (experience in Japan is also acceptable)
