AJ2 Security is seeking experienced retail store detectives to work at our industry leading client’s store locations. We have built a reputation for providing exceptional service to our clients through our highly professional team of detectives. We currently have openings in Cleveland Ohio

Job Description:

Store detectives are responsible for protecting the assets of our clients (cash, merchandise, property) as well as ensuring a safe and secure environment by doing the following:

• Watching the activity of customers, employees, vendors, and delivery people for suspicious behavior
• Working undercover in plain clothes to detect and apprehend potential shoplifters
• Using cctv and other security systems to monitor activity in client locations
• Filing complaints with police and testifying in court in regards to apprehensions and investigations which you took part in

Skills Required:

• High degree of professionalism
• Good decision making under pressure
• Ability to work independently
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to travel to store locations within 25 miles of home
• Ability to work retail store hours

Experience Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of verifiable retail store detective experience required (working undercover to detect and apprehend shoplifters)
• Ohio State Security License is required.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
