AJES Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Associate, reporting to the Quality Control Lead, to assist with following standard operating procedures.
Job Description:
The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for the activities and procedures which are required to sample and test intermediate samples, finished goods, and stability samples under GMP conditions. The position follows established procedures for daily activities and completes all necessary documentation
The Quality Control Associate will also write testing protocols and / or specifications, testing procedures for intermediates and finished products using standard operating procedures and FDA guidelines.
About the Role:
- Responsible for ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices [21 CFR Part 111] & Food Safety policies are adhered throughout the facility.
- Responsible for in-line inspections within manufacturing and packaging areas towards established customer specifications.
- Communicating and alerting management of any unusual occurrence or any pertinent issues that affects production & packaging.
- Participates in writing, editing, and updating company policies & SOP.
- Assists with the documentation for QA Holds, Non-Conformance Reports, Corrective Actions, Customer Complaints and Product Investigations.
About You:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, biology, food science
- Relevant coursework and / or experience in lieu of education may be considered
Work Experience:
- No work experience required, but experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance is a plus
Desired Soft Skills:
- Ability to follow written instruction including Manufacturing batch records, Safety policies, and Quality requirements.
- Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and can work independently
