Responsibilities

• Performs targeted analytical testing under the guidance of Laboratory Manager. This testing supports development projects, investigates new products, troubleshoots methods.
• Analysis of raw material, in process batches, finished goods or bulk samples, water samples, cleaning samples, stability samples, etc.
• Documents all results according to Standard Operating Procedure(SOPs) and Work Instructions.
• Acquires proficiency in operating and mastering various laboratory instruments, including gas chromatography (GC), High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) , UV/ Visible Spectrophotometry and FTIR.

Qualifications

• GMP lab experience
• College degree in Chemistry, or related Science degree.
• Knowledge of basic chemistry techniques and analytical testing and instrumentation
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory instruments and perform routine preventative maintenance
• Ability to work extra hours, including some limited weekend work
• Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and statistical analysis software
