We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team. The Pre-litigations Attorney will be responsible for managing the Pre-litigations department as well as managing a variety of personal injury cases in the pre-litigation stages.
Responsibilities include:

• Manage pre-litigation for assigned cases from intake to settlement.
• Assist with case evaluation, case strategy, medical management to increase case value and obtain maximum settlement for clients.
• Manage file handlers and legal assistants ensuring that all cases are smoothly moving along.
• Provide excellent service to all clients.
• Manage a high volume of personal injury cases, ensuring exceptional client representation and satisfaction.
• Lead and supervise pre-litigations team providing guidance, mentorship and support.
• Act as the liaison between the C-suite and the pre-litigation management and supervisory team to ensure all initiatives are carried out and completed.
• Oversee all aspects of case management, including strategy development, negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and handle complex motion practice.
• Collaborate with executive management on developing and implementing firm-wide strategies, goals and initiatives.
• Ensure pre-litigation departments meet all firm-wide goals and initiatives.
• Conducting regular meetings with pre-litigation department management and supervisory team to ensure consistency and accountability amongst all departments.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPI's), utilizing data to drive decision-making and improve performance.
• Manage the firm's profit and loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development and a strong work ethic.

Skills & Requirements:

• Litigation experience is NOT required for this role.
• Leadership skills are required.
• Must be organized and accountable.
• Excellent research and writing skills are required.
• Must be familiar with reading medical reports and bills.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with serious injury cases.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar license.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing personal injury law with a focus on the plaintiff side.
• Proven track record of managing a high volume of cases and achieving successful outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing a team.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial data and managing P&L statements.
• In-depth understanding of key performance indicators and reporting metrics within a legal setting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive work environment.
