Akai Hana Sushi & Grill Goodyear is an authentic Japanese restaurant serving fresh sushi and traditional/new Japanese cuisine.

We are currently looking for a kitchen assistant to further expand the business. Previous cooking experience at a Japanese restaurant is preferred but is not a requirement. Entry level candidates who’s interested in learning Japanese cuisine/culture and wanting to elevate their careers are very welcome.

Physical requirements:

• Stand for extended periods.
• Use hands and wrists repetitively.
• Lift and carry up to 50lb when necessary.

Desired skills:

• 2 years experience at Japanese restaurant kitchen
• Familiar with Japanese cuisine and comfortable handling fresh fish

Pay

• Starting $15/hour; will negotiate depending on your talent
