Akamai Practice Management provides "full-service" billing solutions for Hawaii's independent physician community from our offices in Honolulu and Kapolei. We manage all aspects of our client's receivables; from the initial filing of claims, through payment posting, claims denial management, banking and the final accounting for receipts.
Our clients represent over thirty different medical specialties on all islands. We have been doing this in Hawaii for over 30 years and are extremely well respected by the local medical community. The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for one or more full-time account managers to be based out of either our Kapolei or Honolulu office. After an initial training and probation period, the opportunity to work remotely may be offered.
This is an chance to fully use your billing experience, learn new skills, and work with a great group of cooperative people in a supportive work environment. Candidates must have one year of experience billing for private physicians, a degree from educational program specializing in medical reimbursement, or a degree from a four-year college with some relevant work experience. Applicants without the requisite experience or education will not be considered. You should have a strong work ethic and be able to interact graciously and cooperatively with your clients and coworkers. Friendliness, intelligence and good communication skills are absolutely essential.
We offer an attractive compensation package which includes fully paid medical/dental/vision coverage, a flexible paid time off program, eleven paid holidays per year, a transportation allowance and a retirement plan with company contributions.
