Job DescriptionAkelius is seeking an experienced IT operations team lead to oversee and maintain reliable, secure, and efficient day to day operations for the offices and properties in the US. The ideal candidate will provide innovative and reliable technology support not only to help the Akelius Real Estate Management team, work smarter and more efficiently, but also to keep existing technology processes running optimally together with Akelius group IT unit. The IT operations team lead will hold internal customer satisfaction as their top priority.
provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
oversee IT support specialists to ensure effective response to tasks by internal IT team
collaborate with group IT
conducting reviews, recommendations of internal processes and procedures
manage multiple tasks and meeting deadlines; communicate progress at regular intervals
provide frontline IT support, both face to face and remotely, with the use of TeamViewer and Azure resources.
take ownership of support requests and be proactive in resolving issues
manage projects and tasks (e.g., office move, upgrades of hardware or software, property IT)
follow-up with end users to provide status updates as per service level guidelines
complete system diagnostics, problem solve, and provide positive client and end-user service
who you are
high school diploma or GED is required
college degree preferred
5 years in an IT support role providing IT support, and providing customer support in an IT or technical helpdesk environment
intrinsic interest and understanding of IT solutions and a genuine passion for technology efficiencies
proven ability to create and maintain positive customer and end-user relationships with technical advice, and timely service
ability to present complex information clearly and influence the outcome through effective verbal and written communication
excellent people skills, building relationships with employees
well versed in coordinating and directing the operations of IT staff to meet the requirements of the organization
enjoy working in a fast-paced growing team and are comfortable talking to people at all levels of the business
good interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate strong working relationships in a team environment is a must
strong organizational skills to ensure proper follow up and adherence to project timelines
