ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above and below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
* Ensure that all PSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met.
* Read and follow work instructions, procedures and follow oral instructions to ascertain tool crib tasks.
* Order, receive, store and disburse material in production area tool crib as necessary. All handling will be by hand or with material handling equipment.
* Inspection of material to include obvious damages, shortages and overages. Report discrepancies for immediate reconciliation.
* Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers according to procedures.
* Maintain thorough inventory records and inventory levels. Perform physical inventory counts as required.
* Responsible for accurately tracking disbursed materials through the use of a hand held barcode scanner.
* Perform minor maintenance to keep tools in service on the production floor.
* Operation and use of hand and/or power tools to facilitate repairs and/or fabrications to items such as hoses, lines and wire cables.
* Perform daily housekeeping to keep workplace safe from slips, trips and fall hazards.
* Maintain well-organized, tidy and clean storage areas.
* Maintain adequate stock of exchange tools, such as grinders and wire feeders.
* Record tool exchanges in the PSI Tool Database computer system.
* Perform the tool repair run as needed.
* Transact tools and consumable disbursements in the computer system.
* Read and compose e-mails and navigate the PSI intranet.
* Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILTY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

This is a full-time, safety sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
