As a Powertrain Dynamometer Calibration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our ELD powertrain dyno facility. Your primary responsibility will be to lead feature calibration efforts, supporting commodity calibration teams to deliver production release calibrations across various features, including emissions/OBD development. Collaborating closely with dynamometer test engineering teams, you'll collect essential data and develop and follow test processes to ensure the highest quality standards.
Experience Required:

• Basic understanding of powertrain calibration, controls, and test methods
• Proficiency with calibration development tools such as ATI/ETAS
• Strong analytical skills for data reduction and analysis
• Experience with Excel/Matlab for data analysis and basic programming
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience Preferred:

• Experience with AVL PUMA/CAMEO/Concerto
• Prior experience in a similar role

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamometer-based powertrain feature calibrations to support program releases
• Conduct engine/powertrain dyno data collection & analysis to generate feature calibrations
• Release feature calibrations in CFX for commodity team use
• Proactively manage calibration tasks to deliver programs on time with quality
• Communicate effectively with the program commodity calibration team
• Collaborate with ELD test engineers on test cell/PT setup for proper data collection
• Lead daily test cell activities with technicians and test engineers to complete program deliverables
• Improve test cell operating efficiency using automation
• Create and develop efficient data & calibration processing tools
• Actively engage with subject matter experts and the larger calibration community to stay relevant with new and changing features

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per week
