Akkodis is hiring a Change Management specialist to assist one of our clients with their current ITIL project,

Location: Hybrid - San Jose, CA

Employment type: 6 month contract

We are currently seeking an ITSM Implementation Specialist to drive the implementation of ITSM best practices around change and release management. Our cloud platform is one of the world's largest private clouds, delivering Security-as-a-Service to leading enterprise companies.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize deep expertise and experience in implementing and managing ITIL Change and Release management practices.
• Undertake a gap analysis to identify where existing processes do not meet ITIL best practices, including KPIs and ROI that demonstrate the value of adoption.
• Build and agree with the business a roadmap that closes identified gaps, ensuring improvements are aligned with company strategy and business culture. The roadmap should include process, tooling, training, and adoption of revised ways of working.
• Implement the agreed roadmap within the agreed timelines, ensuring new ways of working are seamlessly adopted by the business.

Qualifications:

• Recognized qualifications in ITIL ITSM.
• Deep and demonstrable experience in building and driving industry-leading Change and Release Management processes within a business.
• Experience with Jira or other service management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Decisiveness and ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrable experience in driving tooling strategies to reduce overheads associated with process implementation.
