Akkodis is Hiring a Computer Operations Analyst (Control M) Near Omaha, NE

Akkodis is seeking a Computer Operations Analyst for a Control M position with a client located in Omaha, NE. This Operations Controls Analyst coordinates, schedules and monitors processing related activities in a multi-platform environment. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues, and provides guidance to improve processes. Collaborates with application development resources to set up new processes (such as web services, ssis packages, batch processes, and others) and aids in testing those processes to validate before promotion to other environments. Supports and mentors Computer Operations Technicians.

This role is a contract and can be 100% remote - YOU MUST HAVE EXPERINCE WITH BMC Control M to qualify

Pay/Salary Range: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with BMC Control-M and related suite of products.
  • Five years of experience as an Operations Technician in a multi-platform environment with increasing responsibility and general knowledge of various enterprise platforms such as mainframe, Windows, and Linux.
  • Five years of experience using enterprise automation and monitoring software, creating job flows with dependency conditions. Platforms including mainframe, Windows, and Linux.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills and adjust to changing job requirements.
  • A strong understanding of Job Control Language and the ability to write or manipulate jobs to obtain desired results.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings or overnights, to cover for absent team members as needed, sometimes with short notice.
  • Ability to work in an on-call (24x7) environment.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for training or other educational opportunities.
  • Ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.
  • Engages well with others and passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience.
