Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Jefferson, WI (100% onsite)

Pay Rate: $65- 75per hour

18 months contract

Here are the specs of the role:

The Construction Manager (CM) will oversee the build-out of a trailer drop lot as part of the Jefferson expansion project. This role requires experience in managing construction projects, particularly in a manufacturing/industrial environment, with a strong emphasis on civil engineering and permitting/zoning requirements. The CM will be responsible for managing all site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial, safety, and schedule key performance indicators, redirecting any deviations or proposing alternatives to the Project Engineering Manager (PEM).
• Review SAP project details and update Microsoft Project, PETPRO, BIM 360, CX Alloy as required.
• Establish asset tracking, tagging, and project close-out activities with facility resources.
• Track, maintain, and transfer NPE Procured Field Equipment and NPE Assets.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Directly oversee project execution, inspection, and quality acceptance according to specifications, drawings, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate and maintain all schedules within the field, ensuring work is planned and completed according to the contract schedule.
• Conduct weekly planning meetings with plant engineers to determine access times for construction activities.
• Lead the shared field support team, consisting of various on-site supporting project resources.
• Provide daily and weekly reports to the PEM, highlighting important project items.
• Manage field inputs, RFIs, and submittals through CX Alloy or other available tools.
• Prepare and maintain project-specific EWO and CO documentation for CM processing.

Requirements:

• Experience managing projects through all phases of construction.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), or similar certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience.
• Experience overseeing the build-out of a trailer drop lot in a manufacturing/industrial environment, civil engineering, and permitting/zoning.
• More than 3 years experience with software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, CX Alloy, and others).
• Proficiency in information technology tools such as BIM 360, File Sharing Systems, CX Alloy, Pet Pro, SAP, and MS Office Suite programs.
• Strong decision-making abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to climb ladders, and stairs, and walk through a construction site.
• Independence and ability to handle numerous technical, commercial, and administrative tasks.
• Thorough understanding of project management, building design, construction, scheduling, cost modeling, and risk analysis.
• Clear and analytical approach to problem-solving.
