Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX - Hybrid (3 days onsite in a Week) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry and a PMP certification would be a big plus.

Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• The Claims Technology team is looking for a mid-level Data Architect/Analyst. A highly experienced Data Architect/Analyst is needed to manage multiple project implementations of the claims product in the Fraud Technology space. As a Data Architect/Analyst, the candidate will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions.
• Requirements include 8 years of experience (preferably in the financial industry), with a minimum of 2 years of experience with the agile methodology.
• Have experience as a technical data developer and analyst with data architecture exposure.
• Strong analytics and communication skills including ability to drive diverse group towards common goals and clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions
• Ability to balance need to deliver multiple concurrent projects while maintaining architectural standards
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL ETL
• Experience in Oracle Data Warehouse with large amounts of data
• Experience in Tableau
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Be able to design the conceptual, logical and physical data models necessary to support the analytic data requirements for various department reporting needs
• Strong data analysis experience
• Experience in data visualization tools
• Creates documentation for all activities and may work with technology staff in design of any system to run models developed.
• Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value. Challenges data and information integrity. .
• Operational Data Store modeling, design and development
• Data mining and producing novel reports for management
• Strong Excel Skills with pivots and graphs
• Candidates must possess advanced problem-solving skills, analyzing complex data and ability, advanced data visualization skills, the willingness to self-learn and ability to communicate verbally effectively and concisely and in written/presentation format.
• Candidates must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently.
• Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and the business.

Preferred Skills

• Financial Services/Banking industry experience a plus
• Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, and/or Claims experience is a plus.
