Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative and real-time maintenance on equipment to support the production of products. This position will support first shift operations and include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/equipment. Day Shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.
• Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, pallet jacks, & forklifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to a PM schedule.
• Work from technical drawings or electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and the facilities team on various projects.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed.
• Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory. approval; evaluates and selects solutions from establishing operating procedures and/or scientific methods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate, able to easily learn and use Computerized Maintenance Software.
• Skilled use of hand and power tools.
• Basic plumbing skills for water hoses, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Self-starter, self-motivated, works well in a team environment.
• Must build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Ability to handle high pressure, prioritize work, and understand impact of duties
• Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, operators, engineers and support staff.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of common manufacturing techniques.
• Able to work with electronics (soldering & technical knowledge).
• Ability to operate machining equipment.
• Associates level degree with education in the sciences and focus on Applied Science, Automotive. Systems, Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
• Injection Molding Experience is a plus.
