Akkodis is Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer contractor for the location of Phoenix AZ. It is a contract position for 6 months. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience in the Aerospace Manufacturing Industry.

Pay Range: $35 - $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Duties

• Product-focused and add value by changing the current design to support business objectives

• Ensure a disciplined and data-driven approach is utilized for technical decisions

• Support GROE productivity goals utilizing the Value Creation Process

• Drive GROE material savings financial acumen to ensure productivity compliance

• Develop innovative repair designs to restore Aftermarket parts and alleviate shortages.

• Operate as a team member in Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, and Operating System (HOS).

• Establish a technical interface between Honeywell customer support representatives and customers

• Partner with our customers to identify and execute actions to drive future growth opportunities
