Business Project Manager

Hello, Akkodis has a contract job opportunity as a Business Project Manager with a well known company in the area. This role is located in Bloomington, IN and will be a Year long contract to hire role. If you are interested, please review the details below.

This role is based out of Bloomington, IN but is open to remote on EST and CST

Pay: 35-48/h

Essential Responsibilities

• Establish project plans with associated milestones and deadlines

• Communicate with staff and external vendors throughout projects

• Act as a single point of contact and provide coordination of deliverables

• Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders to create a

high-performance global team

• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and with appropriate

documented approvals

• Train users on new systems and processes

• Coordinate routing, tracking, and archiving of project documentation

• Collect and document project risks and issues

• Provide coaching and guidance to team leaders in best project practices

• Coordinate development of project status reports by team leads

• Review project status reports and follow up on needed changes

• Collect and document resource information

• Develop and issue resource summaries

• Attend project status meetings

• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others

throughout various levels of the global organization

• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards

• Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skills

• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and

environments with minimal supervision

• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in a science or engineering field preferred

• A history of high performance demonstrating proficiency in several of the

above listed job functions/duties

• Strong computer usage skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft

Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
