Role Summary:

As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge communication systems that enhance the operations of public and private sector entities. This role is critical in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will serve as the bridge between our customers and our technical teams, coordinating every aspect of the project from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with clients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with system engineers, service technicians, and installation crews to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Project Planning: Read and interpret contract documents to outline our scope of work. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
  • Budget Management: Keep detailed and accurate cost estimates and issue logs to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and lead project meetings, provide regular status updates to all stakeholders, and document meeting minutes accurately.
  • Change Management: Negotiate and prepare change orders in response to project scope changes.
  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project demands.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Active PMP certification is mandatory.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years managing multiple large-scale telecommunications, data center, or network deployment projects (each exceeding $2MM) for external clients is required. Experience with digital RF and microwave systems, as well as site/facility development, is highly valued.
  • Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver in-person presentations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Legal Requirements: Must possess a valid US Driver’s License and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of Florida.
