Required Qualifications

Role Overview

• The Receipt Inspection Supervisor team at Abbott Laboratories is responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• The role involves a variety of tasks including visual inspections, paperwork checks, and equipment usage (calipers, micrometers, balances, scales, pipettes).
• Flexibility is essential as the team handles materials from both lateral flow and molecular sides of the business, requiring adaptability in daily tasks.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• High attention to detail, as this role is the first line of defense in ensuring raw materials meet Abbott's quality standards.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple pieces of equipment and documentation simultaneously.
• Flexibility and adaptability, as the tasks and materials inspected can change frequently throughout the day.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree is not necessary but welcomed. Candidates from various educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including those with unrelated degrees (e.g., finance).
• Experience: This is an entry-level position. While experience in a quality control or assurance department is preferred (6 months to 1 year), it is not required. The company provides on-the-job training for all necessary equipment and procedures.
