Long-term, ongoing contract

Skills Required: Technical ability to remove and replace parts on vehicles.

Preferred: 6 sigma green or black belt trained.

• Responsible for low voltage electrical system vehicle
• Support plant on any Stop ships, campaigns, quality issues. - Lead V18/V19 - LOW VOLTAGE WIRING & EDS COMPONENTS/ELECTRICAL POWER
• Early Claims Binning/re-binning, read claims, contact dealerships on parts, make HOT requests to ship parts to suppliers for root cause evaluation.
• Manage Quality project inputs, project health, and glidepaths.
• Provide part sign-off's to support builds. - Review and sign-off Supplier Request for Engineering Authorization.
• Support Plant Material Cost Reduction blitzes.
• Chair/support Electrical Variability Reduction Team meetings.
• Support First Time Through issue resolution at plant.
• Participate in Kansas City - based Vehicle Functional Group and Functional Quality Review meetings when on the agenda.
• Coordinate/Support engineering change trials. Use local supplier rep if available.
• Support fresh eyes reviews on pre-builds.
