Akkodis is seeking a Software Golang Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in GO, Golang, Rest Api's, SQL, MYSQL would be a big plus.

Pay Range: $60-$75/hour ; The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:

Develop high-quality, scalable back-end code utilizing Go for REST API development, SQL database development and maintenance, unit tests, and design documentation.

• Ideal candidates should possess extensive experience in software development and engineering principles.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Go Development.
• Code and test software based on software specifications and designs.
• Analyze and scrutinize complex system requirements.
• Design software tools and subsystems to facilitate reuse and domain software development.
• Employ sound software engineering principles to ensure the developed code is maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.
• Provide software process management and control throughout the coding phase of the software development process.

Required Experience:

• 3 years of experience in Go development.
• 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in designing, developing, and documentation of REST API endpoints.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills.
