Akkodis is recruiting for a Technical Support Enginee r for an aerospace manufacturer in Grand Prairie, TX. This is an onsite 6 mo contract with a pay rateof $30-$36 an hour. Candidate will work with Technicians on the shop floor to resolve technical product, process, repair, documentation, and electronic recordkeeping system issues. Reviewing of new technical publications to add and change any tooling, industrial documentation, quality documentation, implementing and training of new MRO methods

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university; two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex drawings and technical documentation
• Knowledge and experience using Autocad or equivalent is preferred.
• Intermediate Level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, PowerBI
• Ability to learn and use internal systems such as the ERP and Documentation Control programs
• Ability to adapt Mechanical/Technical/Interpersonal skills to the unique requirements of the organization
