Akkodis is seeking a UI Designer for a Fulltime position with a client located in Lancaster, SC.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,000/ Year(The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Title: UI Designer

Location: Lancaster, SC (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Design on-brand creative solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and promotional artwork
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards
• Take ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, design colleagues, and content experts to deliver an effective user experience
• Use the latest software and applications to design and develop digital solutions
• Collaborating with the e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards.
• Ensuring consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
• Utilize your knowledge of responsive design to account for various screen sizes.
• Take full ownership of the design process, guiding it from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate across functions to translate UI challenges into actionable solutions that address business needs effectively.
• Deliver clear and well-organized support by preparing and handing off assets to developers, the e-commerce team, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in file preparation and maintain asset organization within the digital asset management system.
• Present designs and key outcomes to peers and senior executives for feedback and alignment.
• Keep abreast of design trends and emerging technologies, actively seeking inspiration to enhance design skills.
• Regular in-office attendance is required.
• Fulfill other duties as needed to meet company goals.
• Foster effective communication with various departments and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in digital design.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Impressive portfolio showcasing creativity, digital designs and assets, problem-solving, and technical expertise.
• Forward-thinking design approach, employing color theory, typography, and other visual elements to maintain brand identity.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail in design.
• Deep understanding of design principles and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to collaborate and contribute to team and company success.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong project management, organization, and time management abilities.
• Ability to thoroughly understand the product, business, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a high level of professionalism.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in web design, or related field of study from a four-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
