Job Summary: Performs general accounting functions, maintains accounting records and general ledger, prepares monthly reconciliation on selected balance sheet accounts, account receivable functions, prepares reports, and other assignments as requested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Administers the month end close process to include preparing journal entries, account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations, and follows up on issues.

· Assists with generating monthly US GAAP financials along with various supporting schedules for internal purposes and parent company.

· Handles accounts receivable functions by processing customer invoices and following up on outstanding balances customer questions.

· Maintains fixed asset and patent records within accounting software.

· Files state sales tax returns

· Provides other support as needed.

· Reports directly to Accounting Manager

Requirements:

· BS in Accounting or related field

· Three to five years accounting experience

· Experience using computerized accounting systems (SAP experience a plus)

· Ability to work under pressure

· Good organizational skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Solid working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
