Al's Pest Control Service, Inc. is a family owned pest control company with offices in New Orleans and Lafayette, LA. We are seeking new team members who have a desire to learn and grow in the Pest Management Industry. The right candidate must be punctual, possess excellent time management skills, detailed focused, flexible working indoor and outdoor environments, skilled in using mobile applications, and be customer service oriented.

A typical work day as a pest control technician involves:

• Using a smart phone to access service orders, start and complete each assigned service order, inspect and treat structures, record product usage, process payments, draw graphs of structures, update customer information, and provide service notes of entire inspection and treatment process, including pest conducive conditions and customer corrective actions.
• Working outdoors, indoors, in attics, mixing and applying pesticides, trenching and treating around perimeter of structures, thoroughly inspecting the interior and exterior of houses and commercial buildings.
• Drive a company owned vehicle to multiple service locations throughout the Greater New Orleans / Southeast Louisiana region.
• Facilitate conversations with customers about your work responsibilities as well as giving estimates, offering additional services, and following up on sales leads.
• Overall, assisting and helping customers keep their homes protected from destructive structural pests.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

License / Certification

• Valid Driver's License (Required)

Work Experience

• Experience in the Pest Management Industry (Preferred, but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
