ALAANT is Hiring a Benefits Specialist Near Ballston Spa, NY

Are you seeking a mission driven organization? Do you have HRIS and/or Benefits experience? Alaant Workforce Solutions is proud to partner with the largest nonprofit organization in New York State serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Hours and Benefits for the Benefits Specialist:
  • $48,000 to $55,000 a year based on experience level
  • PTO, holidays off and sick time
  • Health, Vision and Dental benefits
Responsibilities for the Benefits Specialist:
  • Handles all benefit enrollments including new hires, qualifying events and open enrollment
  • Completes and processes disability, FMLA and PFL claim forms and any related leave paperwork
  • Completes and processes Workers’ Compensation forms, including but not limited to, C-2, C-11 and C-240
  • Maintains OSHA logs and completes all related paperwork
  • Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by the Human Resources Director
Requirements for the Benefits Specialist:
  • 2 years experience in employee benefits in an HR department
    • UKG/UltiPro system preferred, not required
  • Associate’s degree in related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
