Job Description Alabama State University, Office of Records and Registration, invites applications to fill the position of Systems Operations Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide technical and reporting support for the Office of Records and Registration
- Report enrollment and graduation accurately, to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and the National Student Loan Data Systems (NSLDS) in accordance with University, State, and Federal requirements
- Research, analyze, test, and audit complex data and processes to maintain accuracy, and to correct errors
- Enforce business processes for compliance purposes through collaboration with numerous campus partners to ensure accurate details
- Update and maintain academic programs and requirements in PeopleSoft (Curriculum Management)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience, 2 years of experience in information analysis and research, experience in an environment that deals with sensitive and private student information, aptitude to learn quickly and comprehend university business and technical concepts with an improvement mindset, have strong analytical skills with solid database management and business process analysis experience, have advanced problem solving skills, experience working with various large data sources extracting, and manipulation data and running complex data queries, have excellent organizational skills paying attention to details, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with complex systems and rapidly developing business needs.
