Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Who You Are: You are a hard working professional, with high attention to detail, who is accurate and time efficient. You want a fast-paced environment with plenty of aspects to always keep you busy, in a very unique company.
The Opportunity: You will assist with all the key aspects in our accounting department to ensure payments are being executed appropriately. Expect to work daily with the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Manager, and be given the opportunity to utilize your experience to quickly help the entire company. We’d love an experienced AP Clerk with tenured successful experience to take this role and, over the next few years, support our growth in the fireworks industry.

What You’ll Do:
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Confirm subcontractor billed working hours, bonuses, and projects
- Process checks requests and expense reports
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
- Audit and process credit card bills
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Ensure outstanding balances are updated with credit memos that are due
Must-haves in a Candidate:
- High school diploma.
- 2-3 years’ experience with accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficient Google Workspace knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytic abilities
Nice to Have In a Candidate:
- 3-year experience working with BILL (Bill.com)
- Associate degree in accounting preferred
- Experience working with NetSuite
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
