The primary responsibilities of the Sales floor supervisor is to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise product, and support the store management team.

Responsibilities For This Position Include
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
- Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management
- Assist in the training and development of associates
- Actively participate in daily huddle meetings
- Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards
- Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized
- Responsive of safety issues
- Conscious of shoplifting activity
- Aid customers in locating merchandising in store, on acehardware.com, as well as, processing special orders
- Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card
- Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies
- Great all customers entering the store to create a friendly and inviting shopping experience.
- Loading and unloading of all customer purchases.
- Maintain aisle stock, store front, backyard, offices and overstock and cleanliness to ensure clean and orderly work areas.
- Request information or assistance using store radio system, and respond to others requests in a quick and respectful manner.
- Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, location, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements.
- Thank each customer for shopping at Alamo Ace Hardware.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practice
- Any other responsibilities given by management.
- Make customers the first priority.
- The ability to clearly communicate information and ideas written or verbally to associates and customers.
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills with a strong willingness to learn.
- Exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ladder climbing.
- Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to work in a natural climate environment.
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
- Must have the ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
