Alana HealthCare is Hiring a Home Health Registered Nurse Near Leesburg, FL

Alana Healthcare/Preferred Home Health Providers is currently hiring Full Time and Part Time Home Health Nurses in Leesburg and other locations (Clermont, Eustis). As a Home Health Nurse with Alana, you will build personal relationships with patients and must have a passion for patient care.
  • Provide quality healthcare to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
  • Focus on the medical needs and treatment of patients according to an active plan of care
  • Assess and chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit
  • Conduct Patient evaluation tasks including reviewing medication and vital signs
  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Coordination of care with physicians, PT and other individuals in the patient's care plan
  • Provide education to patients, caregivers and family members
Requirements

  • Active RN/LPN License to practice in the State of Florida, and
  • One year of clinical-based experience with specialty of home health preferred.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Self-driven and accountable to provide excellent patient care and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver skilled services such as assessment and skilled observation, wound care and dressing changes, injection administration, medication administration, patient and caregiver education
  • Maintain a level of knowledge to navigate information through an electronic medical records system
  • As a condition of employment, must successfully complete drug test and background check including criminal history check and character references
