We are seeking a full-time – 2nd Shift Material Handler - experienced or willing to learn all aspects of managing material in our Iowa facility. This position is responsible for assisting in a print manufacturing environment with a focus on reduction in cost related errors, exceeding client expectation, and driving a safe workplace. Prior experience as a Material Handler is a plus.

Responsibilities: 

• Verifies material in boxes with work orders.
• Supports the Mailshop area by pulling skids of material.
• Removes any safety/fire hazards. Ensure clean, neat. and orderly work area. 
• Operates trash compactor and empties waste containers throughout the shift. 
• Ensures a safe work environment. Notify Group Leaders of any missing safety devices or unsafe conditions.
• Communicates with the Supervisor on problems, bottlenecks, and potential solutions.
• Helps improve methods and systems to increase productivity, quality, and safety. 
• Reports any damage to company property as soon as it is seen (whether responsible for the problem or not). 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• 2 years manufacturing experience preferred 
• Knowledge of Printstream Software a plus
• Experience operating electric jacks, pallet jacks, and forklifts a plus
• Able to lift and move 15-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and stretch on a regular basis
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members
• Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and ability to stay in work area
• Must be able to foster team cooperation
