The Certified Medical Assistants work as members of the medical/nursing team to provide care to a mentally ill population.
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and take their vitals, administer injections, collect health information, etc.
- Coordinate timely and efficient patient flow in the department
- Complete prior authorizations, laboratory requisitions, and other forms
- Obtain patient records, answer calls and relay information in a timely manner
- Position is based in Anchorage, Alaska
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- Pay Range is between $21.00 to $27.18 depending on experience. Eligible for up to $6,600 in incentive with the average being $2,500

- AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, Five (5) weeks of PTO for the first year; eight (8) weeks of PTO after the first year. PTO is used for company recognized holidays. 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 4% automatically contributed by AKBH.
- You have a High School Diploma or GED and are a CMA with certification in CPR and First Aid
- You are comfortable with EMR usage and are a fast learner with computer programs
